We already published the list of best PSP games of all time, now it’s time to discover the best PSP adventure games of all time.
With amazing titles available, the PSP definitely has a great library of adventure games.
So, if you’re a fan of both the PSP and adventure games, there’s a chance you’ll like this list.
And some of you may already know some of the games mentioned in this list.
#5. Shadow of Destiny
- Release Data: Konami, 2010
- Genre: Adventure » 3D » Third-Person
With barely any changes made to the graphics and story and a few minor changes to the audio, it is a bit tough to recommend Shadow of Destiny to veterans who have already seen all of the game’s endings.
But for gamers who are just looking for a good adventure, Shadow of Destiny is very easy to recommend.
#4. Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law
- Release Data: High Voltage Software/Capcom, 2008
- Genre: Adventure » 3D » First-Person
This title is actually five episodes of the show, but you occasionally get to make a choice about Harvey’s next action.
And while this title is sure to please fans who are desperate for some plots, it leaves the gameplay feeling almost non-existent.
Overall, this game would be good for fans of the show only.
#3. Disgaea Infinite
- Release Data: Nippon Ichi Software/NIS America, 2010
- Genre: Adventure » Visual Novel
Disgaea Infinite features a great cast of characters, some excellent voice acting and the controls are simple and fun, allowing the story to take center stage.
The only downside with the game is that it’s not very friendly to gamers new to the Disgaea universe, which will leave them unsure of what is going on and why.
#2. Neopets Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing
- Release Data: SCEA, 2006
- Genre: Adventure » 3D » Third-Person
All in all, the game had great potential to shine as a great example of PSP 3D adventure gaming but a few hiccups along the way hold it down slightly.
However, Neopets fans, young and old, should not miss out on this game.
#1. Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom
- Release Data: Idea Factory, 2012
- Genre: Adventure » Visual Novel
Thanks to an addictive, well-written story and six completely different possibilities for the second half of the game, Hakuoki is a compelling interactive fiction experience.
It’s certainly not a typical game, but it shows us why we should make room for visual novels in our gaming landscape.
