If you’re not the type of person who prefers PC gaming (or even uses a PC regularly), you probably spend most of your time gaming on a console.
So how do you bring your gaming comfort to the next level when it comes to consoles? Well, gaming couches of course!
Buying a high-quality, comfortable couch or sofa will certainly increase your enjoyment of playing games, especially if you’re prone to back or muscle problems.

1. Homall Single Recliner Chair – The Most Popular Gaming Couch
Thankfully, our first entry into the list is from a known manufacturer of chairs, so you’re in good hands here!
While not technically a couch and more of a sofa, this is actually a great entry-level gaming chair to get your foot in the pool, so to speak.
To start, and as you can tell by the name, this chair has some really thick padding and comfortable padding.
Wrapped around that is some really high-quality PU-leather, so you’re going to be sitting in both comfort and style!
You’ll also notice that it is a push-back with an adjustable footrest, so you can lie back and get comfortable, especially when you aren’t gaming.

2. Homall Gaming Recliner Chair
Another chair from Homall, this one looks more like a gaming chair than the others on the list, if this is the aesthetic you are going for!
To start off with, you have some reasonably good padding (although not the best) covered by some relatively good PU leather.
The headrest is, of course, in-built, and so is the lumbar support, which is a bit irritating for those who don’t like that.
Fortunately, it does recline, so that’s one saving grace right there. It also comes with a footrest, so it certainly fits the criteria of a lounger.
Finally, it has some side pockets for you to store remotes, controllers, books, or whatever you might need to use when you’re watching TV or gaming.

3. Sofa Sack Plush Bean Bag Sofas
While one may not consider this a traditional sofa, you can’t deny the allure and fun of a bean bag chair for your gaming.
What might be different with this bean bag chair than most that you’ve sat in, is that this isn’t actually a bean bag chair.
In fact, it’s filled up with chopped up memory foam. This generally makes the seat much more comfortable to sit on, although it does suffer from compression.
Also, it’s covered with suede, which is pretty fancy.
You’ll also find its size quite intimidating at 7.5 feet (roughly 2.2 meters) in length.

4. Seatcraft Anthem Home Theater Seating
If you like the Delange Reclining Power Sofa, then you’re going to love this—although your wallet won’t!
The main difference really is that this has much better materials. Aside from the plush padding in the seat, the outside is covered in some real leather, which you don’t really see often.
Otherwise, it’s essentially the same. The chair can be deployed in a 2-seater and 3-seater mode. In the 2-seater mode the middle seat comes down and provides armrests, cups, a little table and charging ports for your devices.
The headrest of the middle seat also pops up for some extra lighting.
And much like the cheaper version, the two side seats recline and are powered, which are controlled with handy, easy to reach buttons.
Price Range: Over $200
Perfect For: Adults, Big & Tall Guys, Kids
Features:
- Chair type: Couch
- Reclines: Yes
- Armrest: Yes
- Footrest: Yes
- Ergonomic: Yes
- High back: Yes
- Bluetooth: No
- Speakers: No
- Vibration: No
- Sits on the floor: No
- Monitor mount: No
- Keyboard tray: No
- Suitable for gaming desk: No
- Suitable for racing games: No
- Suitable for flight simulator: No
- Suitable for eSports: No
- Suitable for living room: Yes
- Cup holder: Yes
- Massage: No
- Weight capacity: Not specified
Conclusion:
Well, the main reason you’d buy this is that you like the Delange Reclining Sofa and want to get something a little bit nicer/fancier.
Otherwise, if you don’t really care about the leather, I’d probably go for the cheaper couch.
5. Seatcraft Vienna Home Theater Seating
Much like the Delange, and the other Seatcraft sofa, this is essentially the same with just a slightly different look.
I won’t go into too much re-iteration, but you do essentially get all the features from the other chairs, including powered recline, flip down table with charging ports, as well as the headrest lights.
Price Range: Over $200
Perfect For: Adults, Big & Tall Guys, Kids
Features:
- Chair type: Couch
- Reclines: Yes
- Armrest: Yes
- Footrest: Yes

Conclusion:
Much like the other iterations, the main reason you’d go for this is the look. It might sound silly, but when you’re paying this amount of money, you should be picking the aesthetic that works for your setup!
And there you have it, folks! A bunch of options and varieties for gaming couches and your home theater system.
As always, I don’t like to color your opinions, but here are my quick picks:
Entry Level: For entry level, the option is clear: The Homall Single Recliner Chair. It’s great in terms of price, build quality and materials. Of course, it doesn’t have cup-holders, or a side pouch, which is a bit of a shame, but not the end of the world.
Mid Level: If you don’t care so much about the size, the Homall Gaming Recliner Chair is probably the one you want to go for.
High Level: Obviously the choice here will be the home theater seating. Which one you go for depends on your style preference. Personally, I can’t even decide, they both look great!
And that’s all she wrote! Good luck with your buying and I hope this helped!
