Finding chairs for yourself if you’re anything but average sized and shaped can be difficult.
It’s a very underrepresented market, unfortunately.
Don’t despair though!
That’s exactly why I’ve compiled a list of some of the best chairs for big and tall people.
Hopefully, it will make life easier for you!

1. Homall Gaming Chair with Headrest & Lumbar Support – The Most Popular Gaming Chair For Big & Tall Guys
The first chair on the list tells us that specialized chairs don’t have to be boring looking, and could easily fit in a home or office setting.
Built out of high-quality steel with a class-3 gas lift, this chair from Homall can take your punches and keep on rolling.
Wrapped around some high-density memory foam is some great PU leather, which together should make for an awesome sitting experience.
But that’s not the best part.
No, the best part is that the armrests are set pretty wide apart, so it can easily support those with a large mid-riff.
Since you won’t be constantly cut into by the armrests, you can actually enjoy the bucket-style design of this chair, which should be equally great for taller people.
Finally, you’ll be happy to know that the chair has both a rocker function and an ability to tilt all the way back to 150 degrees.
You also get yourself a headrest and a lumbar support pillow. Put them together, and you find yourself in a chair that you could easily relax and take a nap in!

Conclusion:
This is actually a pretty good chair overall and should be great for most people. The manufacturer is well known and there are very few (if any) problems with the chair.
So really, don’t hesitate to put this one on your potential candidates list!
2. BestOffice Gaming Chair with Adjustable Armrest
The second entry on this list is a slightly cheaper version of the Homall chair, with slightly fewer features, as you’d expect.
Since it is more suited to an office, it isn’t really made for those who are necessarily big. The padding is pretty thin on this one and might be an issue if you’re on the heavier side.
That being said, it still has a solid construction to it.
You also still retain a relatively good PU leather covering for the whole thing, so at least it’s not a big compromise there.
In terms of adjustability, there isn’t any really. The armrests don’t move in any direction, and the chair has absolutely no recline function.
It does have a rocker feature though, so there’s at least that.
Also, you’ll notice that the lumbar support pillow is built in, which might not be ideal for everybody, especially those who like to adjust that sort of thing.

Conclusion:
Sure, it’s not as nice to look at as the Homall, and feature-wise, it’s bare bones. That shouldn’t put you off though since it’s a great bang for your bag.
If you can fit within its specifications, there’s no reason you shouldn’t buy it!
3. Homall Gaming Single Recliner Chair
Going back to Homall again (wow, they really do have a lot of product variety), this is a great option if you want something for your living room.
As you can tell, this is more like a sofa, but with some gaming touches, such as the colored trim and the side pouch for your controllers/mags/what have you.
Much like other sofas, this comes with some really good quality PU leather, as well as some thick padding for your bum’s pleasure!
You also similarly get a recline feature, including the footrest part, so you can totally just sit back and relax, especially since it goes back to 180 degrees.
One little niggle though, is that the lumbar support pillow is built in, just like the BestMassage chair, which is annoying.
I’d much rather have a pillow I can move around and adjust, or remove altogether than have it ingrained in there for the sake of ergonomics. Oh well, that’s just me I guess!

- Weight capacity: 240 lb/108 kg
Conclusion:
So, one downside of this chair is that it’s not going to be great for the biggest and tallest people. Otherwise, though, it’s still an excellent gaming chair, especially if you have a handheld and prefer to game that way.
4. Sofa Sack Plush Bean Bag with Soft Microsuede Cover
Another bean bag chair and this one is even bigger than the last!
Coming in at a whopping 7.5 feet, you can absolutely stretch out on this baby, even if you’re super tall. Which is great, by the way, because the micro-suede fiber cover is durable, comfortable and removable for easy washing.
Also, much like the previous bean bag, it’s filled with shredded memory foam, rather than actual beans, which seems to be the trend nowadays.
There’s really not much else to say, except be super careful because this thing really is deceptively large. Make sure that you have the space to fit in your living room or wherever you’re going to put it.

Whether you go for this bean bag chair or the previous one, is completely going to be depending on how big and tall you are.
Given the price difference, if you can get the smaller one, you probably should!
5. Giantex 360 Degree Swivel Game Chair
The last chair on the list is pretty basic, and yet still a great option!
In terms of padding, this one has all of it, with some super-thick amounts that will be an absolute joy to sit on.
Wrapping that is some linen fabric, which you don’t find often since it’s hard to maintain. Thankfully though, you can remove that, and the one on the base, for easy cleaning.
One thing you do give up is the ability of variable recline, although it does have 4 presets that you can set it to, so it’s not all bad.
Again, there isn’t much to say, since what you see is what you get!
Price Range: Under $200

- Chair type: Pedestal Sofa
- Reclines: Yes

Conclusion:
This chair is minimalist in both its function and its look, and yet it’s still a great chair. It might be a bit on the expensive side, but honestly, it’s still a good choice!
And there you have it, folks! A great variety of gaming chairs for big and tall people.
At this point, I usually give some quick picks, but because there’s such a variety of chair types and sizes, I would be doing you a disservice by giving you picks.
Either way, any chair on this list is excellent!
So with that, I’ll leave you to your shopping, and I hope you find the right chair to fit you!
