Best GBA Life Simulation Games of All Time

We already published the list of best GBA games of all time, now it’s time to discover the best GBA life simulation games of all time.

With amazing titles available, the GBA definitely has a great library of life simulation games.

So, if you’re a fan of both the GBA and life simulation games, there’s a chance you’ll like this list.

And some of you may already know some of the games mentioned in this list.

#5. Dogz

Dogz
  • Release Data: MTO/Ubisoft, 2005
  • Genre: Simulation » Virtual » Pet

Dogz just feels like it could have been so much more.

Like a game that had the potential to be good and engaging, but ended up landing somewhere lost in the land of the mediocre.

As a Game Boy Advance title, it would be more impressive.

#4. The Sims 2

The Sims 2
  • Release Data: Amaze Entertainment/Electronic Arts, 2005
  • Genre: Simulation » Virtual » Virtual Life

This game has problems for sure. It isn’t perfect. But with the amount of polish that this game has, it makes for an enjoyable experience. The game isn’t very memorable, but it isn’t boring.

While a Sims fan might not have a great time with this game, I think a gamer that likes to play life simulation games will like this game.

#3. The Tower SP

The Tower SP
  • Release Data: Vivarium/Nintendo, 2006
  • Genre: Simulation » Virtual » Virtual Life

Diehard fans of the sim genre will probably want to take a pass on The Tower SP, since it doesn’t provide much in the way of staying power.

If you’re a casual sim fan, however, and intend to play the game primarily in short bursts, you may still want to give it a try.

#2. The Urbz: Sims in the City

The Urbz: Sims in the City
  • Release Data: Griptonite Games/EA Games, 2004
  • Genre: Simulation » Virtual » Virtual Life

A few minor issues aside, in every other area, The Urbz is a more-than-worthy successor to Bustin’ Out.

The graphics are gorgeous, the way it plays often makes more sense, you do more varied tasks.

It’s also longer, but not in a superficial way. There just is more content.

#1. The Sims Bustin’ Out

The Sims Bustin' Out
  • Release Data: Griptonite Games/EA Games, 2003
  • Genre: Simulation » Virtual » Virtual Life

The GBA version of The Sims: Bustin’ Out isn’t quite as extravagant as the console games because of the standard limitations of the GBA platform.

But as comparatively limited as the GBA version is, it’s still a well-designed, casual game, and it definitely fits the bill for an on-the-go version of one of the most popular game franchises around.

About

Hi, I'm R, and I've been playing video games since I was a kid. My first console was the original PlayStation (the gray one) and I spent countless hours playing Crash Bandicoot series and Spyro series. My second console was the PS2 Fat, and I completed all of the GTA series 100%.
