#5. Blood Omen 2

It isn’t quite as great as fans of the series would like, but it can still be worth a shot.
And if you’ve never played a Legacy of Kain game, then this is a good enough place to start.
The story has at least a couple of fine twists, and Kain is as memorable of a main character as they come.

#2. Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem

Eternal Darkness doesn’t offer an immediate pay off.
Players will have to invest into the adventure, play, expand, build, learn the magicks, figure out the story, and really advance to reap the full treasures the title has to offer.
And the treasures are grand, beautiful things to behold.

You’ll surely find from playing Resident Evil 4 that all this sort of high praise is warranted, though it’s worth reiterating that this is one of those games that you ought to approach with as few preconceived notions as possible.
Essentially, if you’ve been entertained by other action-adventure games recently, then chances are you’ll be blown away by this one.
