In a previous article, I listed some of the great black gaming chairs, in the hopes that you’d get the right aesthetic for what you’re going for.
Well, this time around I’m doing white chairs, because let’s face it, not everybody wants a pure black-on-black chair.
So if you’re looking for a great white gaming chair, read on!
Contents
1. Homall Gaming Chair, Racing Style/High-Back – The Most Popular White Gaming Chair
The big selling point of this chair is the back’s range of function. Starting at 90 degrees, it can be set all the way back 150 degrees.
On top of that, you can lock it upright, lock it fully recline, or set it to rock in a range of 10 degrees. So actually, pretty cool.
In terms of materials, they’re actually pretty great. PU leather covers high-density shaping foam (basically memory foam).
You also get some comfy pillows for the head and lumbar support. The whole thing is support by a full steel frame, so you know it’s going to be sturdy.
One thing you don’t often find is brubber casters, which is great both for not scuffing up any fancy flooring and making it an overall quieter chair.
All that being said, it does have one big downside, which is that the armrests are non-adjustable, which is very strange for a chair in this price range.
For those of you who are slightly bigger or need a lot of adjustment to feel comfortable, this will be an issue.
Aside from that, you have the winglets, which give that little extra back support, as well as the vents to cool you a little bit for those long gaming sessions.

This chair is a little bit pricey and while it has a lot of features, it is missing a couple of critical ones, like armrest adjustment.
I’ve also seen complaints about how much the chair can carry. While it is rated at 300 lbs, some people find that anything above 250lbs might not be a good idea.
Also, there have been some complaints about the armrests bending outward over time, although it’s a rare occurrence.
2. GamerGear Vertagear S-Line SL5000
SL5000 carries a heavy price tag, but is it really worth the price?
Well, the quick and easy answer is that most of the budget goes into size and comfort.
Being a bucket seat, and with a width between armrests of 22inches /56 cm, this chair should fit most people.
Add to that the high back of 44 inches /84 cm, and you can already tell this is one hell of a large chair.
In terms of comfort, you get a steel frame with high-density memory foam padding, all wrapped in PVC leather.
This means that the chair is both sturdy and soft to sit on, and while PVC isn’t the greatest of leathers (a lot due to how it’s made), it’s a very comfortable and easy to maintain material.
All in all, you’re getting great value.
Aside from that though, the Vertragear SL5000 lacks in areas where other, cheaper chairs don’t.
For one, the angle range from 80 degrees (for some reason) to just 140, which in some cases, is 40 degrees less than other chairs and there is no rocking function, which is a questionable decision with this price tag.
The base is made of aluminum alloy which is great, but the casters are made of plastic, which isn’t that great as rubber would have been better.
Still, it is a soft glide so that’s good at least.
Finally, you have an adjustable,fl gun-stock armrest, which is always a pleasure. You also get two pillows, head and lumbar, both made of some really nice foam padding.

This is a hard chair to recommend, mostly because of the price tag. You’re likely to get superior comfort with this chair than most others, but it’s missing a lot of features that cheaper chairs have:
- Less and baffling tilt angles
- Plastic castors
- PVC leather (As opposed to PU)
- No rocking function
So I don’t know, I would suggest against it, but if you think the comfort and the fact that it’s a big chair is important, then go for it, it’s still an excellent purchase on those fronts.
3. OPSEAT Master Series PC Gaming Chair
Another great chair on the list, the OPSEAT Master Series is slightly cheaper than the SL5000 and comes with just as many, if not more, features.
First of all, you have the sturdy construction of the metal frame, with a generous foam padding for the seat, and back.
All of this is wrapped in what I’m assuming is PU or PVC leather that’s been perforated for breathability. You also get the standard head and lumbar pillows, which is great.
You also get great tilt, with a recline nearly up to 180 degrees, which is almost fully flat. You don’t see this in a lot of chairs.
For those of you who are interested, it also has a rocking feature.
Two big standouts here are the rollers and the armrest. For the first, you get non-scratch nylon, which is great if you have expensive floors that can be damaged easily.
As for the armrests, they’re gunstock and they’re adjustable both up/ down and inwards/outwards.
As always, you’ll find the winglets for extra comfort and the vents for a bit of air.
Given all that, you can see why this chair is popular.

This is actually a pretty great chair for the price point, and probably a better purchase than the SL5000, at least if you don’t care about the wider seat.
Also, if you do buy this chair, make sure you get the 1-year warranty that’s provided by the manufactory. That’s included in the price and shouldn’t cost extra.
4. Cyrola Large Size Gaming Chair with Footrest
Right off the bat, you can tell who this chair is geared for. Being one of the larger chairs on the list, this is a great option if you’re also looking for a footrest.
To start off with, the width of the chair from armrest to armrest is 24 inches/60 cm, so it’s quite roomy. Speaking of armrests, you get adjustable (up/down) gunstock.
So there’s quite a bit of adjustability right out the bat.
On top of that, you get reclining up to 180 degrees, which combined with the size, makes this chair perfect for taking a short nap or just relaxing in.
Adding to all that is a super sturdy construction that can carry a bit of weight, with a high-density sponge for that extra comfort.
Finishing that off is PU leather, which is the best you’re gonna get without going getting real leather.
Of course, as always, you get the standard winglets and vents. You also get a head pillow as well as an adjustable lumbar pillow, which is a great addition for the larger people out there.

This is actually a great ‘budget’ chair for the larger person that also includes a footrest.
One weird thing though, is that the back isn’t as big as the actual seat is, so if you’re tall, this seat isn’t going to be super great for you.
There have also been a couple of complaints about build quality, but that’s not necessarily unexpected. Also, the vents for cooling are actually quite small, so you aren’t going to get ventilation from there.
5. Giantex Gaming Chair
Very similar to the Cyrola but coming in at a bit cheaper with a slightly lower build quality, and of course it’s not made for larger people.
First off, you have the PU outer covering, something they call ‘textaline’ which is apparently scratch resistant, but the claim seems somewhat dubious.
Beneath the fancy PU leather, you have sponge padding for the seat and back.
Thankfully, the Giantex does have 180-degree recline, so you can lay it down and lie flat. It also features a rocking feature, which nowadays is pretty much a requirement.
The arms are gunstock and adjustable up and down. You’ll also find the standard head and lumbar pillows, although they aren’t of particularly great quality.
Also, much like the Cyrola, the vents are too small to provide any cooking if you have the head pillow attached.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a great chair. There are a lot of complaints about build quality, such as holes not lining up or bolts not fitting properly.
There’s also the possibility that it will be too top heavy if you’re average height or weight, with one person complaining about tipping over when leaning forward.
Honestly, I’m not sure who this chair is made for. It’s smaller, not as well built and pretty bog standard compared to the slightly more expensive Cryola.
If you can afford the Cryola, buy that one instead.
6. HAPPYGAME Oversized Racing Gaming Chair
Surprisingly, there are quite a few good features on this chair.
To begin, I have to mention the rollers which, while not made of any fancy materials, do actually have lockers to lock the wheels in place.
At face value that may not even seem useful, but when you’re engrossed in the game you might accidentally push yourself away at an inopportune moment.
Not only that, but having that extra stability means you can adjust yourself much more comfortably, without having to worry about the chair rolling away.
Another great thing is the seat, which is rather wide at 20inches/50cm. Granted is not as wide as some of the biggest chairs, but it’s pretty good.
Of course, it does have a sturdy metal frame, so it can handle a lot of weight, along with making it feel like a solid piece of construction.
All this greatness comes wrapped in some premium PU leather, as well as reasonably good hard foam padding, which might take a while to get used to at first.
The Happy game’s back tilts back up to 155 degrees, which is good enough for most uses really.
Armrests are gunstock, and adjustable up and down. You also get a lumbar and headrest pillow, the latter of which doesn’t block the vents thankfully.
It also comes with a footrest, which isn’t really necessary but absolutely appreciated.

- Weight capacity: 400 lbs/180 kg
Given the price point, this actually a great budget chair all around.
That being said, there are some problems with the build quality, specifically with the caster arms. While the chair does say it can carry a heavy weight, the caster arms could crack or the hole that a caster could fight might break.
Honestly, you might want to avoid this chair if you’re over 250-300 lbs/113-136kg. Otherwise, this is a great purchase.
7. OPSEAT Grandmaster Series
This is probably one of the better chairs in its price point since you do actually get some features normally only found on more expensive chairs.
For starters, the gunstock armrests are 4D. No, they don’t exist outside our plane of existence. Instead, you can adjust them in four dimensipons: up/down, left/right and the angle of the armrests themselves.
Surprisingly enough, you get interchangeable colored tips for the roller arms, which is pretty neat. You also get a whopping 12-degree rocking feature, which is a couple of degrees more than your average chair in this price range.
There’s also quite a lot of seating, with 21inch/53cm width for the seat.
Of course, as you’d expect all this is wrapped in some high-quality PU leather, with some cold molded foam underneath.
The foam is tough enough to support you, but not so tough that it makes you sore after a couple hours of sitting.
Under all that is a solid metal frame which gives the chair a solid feel.
There are some minor downsides though.
For example, the back doesn’t tilt all the way down to flat of 180 degrees, which a lot of chairs at this price point do.
Also, the headrest pillow (which you get along with a lumbar pillow) blocks the vents completely if it’s used.
So you aren’t going to get much cooling that way. Finally, it doesn’t have a footrest, which, depending on the person, isn’t a big deal.

The OPSEAT Grandmaster is an excellent chair and if you can afford it, this is the one you should be buying.
There are some issues, like nylon waheelbase rather than steel, which is prone to snapping. You also get less of a tilt back, although that’s not a big downside since this chair really is made specifically for gaming (and not napping).
Finally, the vents could be bigger, but again, not the end of the world.
8. Killbee Large Gaming Chair
Killbee is a company that is new to the gaming chair world, with this one being a budget offering.
Surprisingly, this isn’t a bad chair. First of all, the material is PU leather, with padding underneath, all held up by a steel frame.
Pretty good considering the price.
The armrests are gunstock and unlike other budget chairs, are adjustable left/right, up/down. Also unlike other chairs, it has one central vent, rather than two.
The headrest pillow sits right above it, so your neck gets some really good cooling.
The winglets on this model are much more muted than other chairs, so if you’re looking for that aesthetic, you might have to look elsewhere.
That being said, it’s still a bucket seat, so you’ll definitely find it comfortable. Speaking of seats, the seat itself is a generous 23inches/58cm, which is great if you’re a larger person.
There is one downside, which is that the wheelbase is made of nylon rather than steel. I’m always dubious when a chair that claims to support a lot of weight doesn’t have a steel base.
Another minor issue is that the seat only tilts back to 135 degrees, which is the least amount in all the chairs listed so far.
Fortunately, there is a tilt function, and this chair is made for gaming, so it’s not meant to lie flat for napping or something.

This is actually a great budget chair for what you’re getting and should be a serious contender in any list you make of potential chairs.
This is especially the case if you’re a larger person and don’t want to be spending $200-$300 on a large gaming chair.
It’s probably even better if you aren’t heavy-set since you don’t have to worry about the wheelbase and whether a leg might crack or break.
9. Giantex Adjustable 5-Position Floor Gaming Sofa Chair
While all the other chairs on this list have been made for desks, this one is made for the floor, especially in a living room scenario.
First off, it has elastic sponge padding, which will offer superior comfort, probably even better than most budget gaming chairs.
That padding is supported by a steel frame so that it will both last and feel pretty sturdy. All that is covered in a soft lint cover that breathable and wear resistant.
One great thing about this floor chair is that it has 5 adjustable positions which lock, from 90 degrees up to 180 degrees to lie it flat for napping, or storage.

While most people who come here might not think of this as a ‘gaming chair’, you should absolutely consider it, especially if you don’t have great furniture (or any) in the living room.
While the price is a little up there for what it is, it’s still a great purchase for its purpose.
10. Wahson Racing Style Leather Gaming Chair
Another new and relatively unknown gaming chair maker, with a surprisingly great entry into the gaming chair space.
The first thing I have to mention is the whopping 25 degree rocking that it can do, which is over double what other chairs on this list can do.
Not only that but it can be tilted back 180 degrees to be completely flat. That alone should be enough to pique your interest.
Chair padding is a foam sponge, which is soft, but not so soft you’ll sink into the chair. It’s supported by a 1.5mm thick steel tubing with 6mm of plating, both of which are really awesome for sturdiness.
Finally, the whole thing is covered in PU leather, although if you want to pay more, they have fabric and real leather versions too.
The armrests are gunstock, and can be adjusted up/down and left/right, which isn’t as much as more expensive chairs, but it’s pretty good at this price point.
Unfortunately, it does have a nylon wheelbase which again, for the price point is fair, but isn’t ideal. The rollers themselves are covered in soft PU which makes them anti-skid and anti-scratch, both great features which you might not find on other chairs for this price.
Finally, I have to mention the head pillow, which isn’t so much a head pillow as a weird neck pillow that doesn’t seem like it would actually fit the chair if you used it.
Of course, in its normal configuration, it’s pointed up, so I guess that makes slightly more sense.
Oh and the seat width is 21.6inches/54cm. It’s not a massive amount, but it should fit most people, even those who are a bit above average size wise.

All in all, this is actually a great budget chair, especially if you go for the PU option. Sure, it’s missing some of the stuff in the $200-$300 chairs, but hey, it’s $100-$200 cheaper, so that’s not an issue.
Conclusion
There you have it ladies and gentlemen: A great selection of white gaming chairs to fit your aesthetic and any budget!
As per usual, I don’t want to color (har har) your decisions, but here’s my quick pics:
Entry Level: The Wahson gaming chair is obviously the best pic in this category. It’s cheap and it has some great feature, the very definition of a good budget chair.
Mid Level: This one is a bit more difficult since there’s a ton of variety in looks and very little in actual features. Probably I’d pick the Cyrola, but honestly, at this level, it’s completely up to you based on which aesthetics you like the most.
High Level: Probably the best in this level is the Opseat Grandmaster and the Homall chair. Both are great and have some neat features and are a solid purchase.
Things to Consider Before Buying a Gaming Chair
First things first, you have to realize that white furniture stains super easily. If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t spend a lot of time cleaning their chair, then maybe a white chair is not the best option for you.
As an addendum to the previous point, make sure you actually do want a white chair. Aside from the time spent on cleaning and maintenance, you will also have to be careful about scratches or even kids being around the chair, because it will get ruined.
Think about what type of chair you’re actually looking for. In this article, it’s all chairs made for a desk, so if you want something for the living room, you might consider a floor or pedestal type chair.
Whenever you buy anything, you should strongly consider what feature you want and what features you don’t. Setting a budget and sticking to it is important, and a major help with that is knowing what you actually need versus what you want.
Consider how difficult or easy it is to assemble the chair. Some people might not like having to sit for 30mins to put a chair together, or having to follow complex instructions.
As always, check out the manufacturer’s build quality and customer support. If you’re going to be spending of $100 or more (which you most likely will) then it shouldn’t be spent on a company that isn’t going to appreciate the money you give them.
