You have a beard.
You also want to cosplay a character that also has a beard.
And at the same time (some of you) want to cosplay a new character from the latest movies or games.
But you’re struggling with ideas, especially the ones that are easy to cosplay.

Don’t worry, here are the best cosplay ideas for guys with beards.
1. Captain America a.k.a. Steve Rogers – Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Now you bearded guys can cosplay this character since he’s now bearded as seen in the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe’s installment.
He’s usually the clean-shaven type of guy, but since he became a rebel (at least to the government), he grows a badass beard.
And the result is the more masculine version of the already masculine Captain America, and he also looks like Nicholas Cage at some point.
Cosplaying as him is easy, just buy the costume and the boots, and you’re ready to go.
No need to wear the helmet and wield that big ass ‘rare’ vibranium shield again, because this time he only wields two compact vibranium shields.
2. Kratos – God of War (2018)
He’s the biggest badass of the year. And now he returns on his journey to slay all the gods once again.
If you’re big and muscular, you might want to cosplay as this guy, but on one condition.
You must shave your head bald! That’s the ultimate sacrifice of cosplaying as Kratos.
Anyway, cosplaying him is also easy, just wear the costume and the boots, and wield that cool icy ax.
However, I’m unable to find where to buy the ax holder online, so you might just want to hold it forever.
3. Leonidas – 300 (2006)
This one is a classic.
Almost every ripped and muscular guys with beards must have at least considered to cosplaying him once.
I mean, how can they not? Leonidas is famous for his almost-naked battle outfit and his magnificent manly beard.
Cosplaying as Leonidas requires you to buy a lot of stuff, such as the infamous male-stripper leather briefs.
If you’re not afraid to show some skin, then go ahead! The ladies will appreciate you being almost naked in a geek and nerd event.
4. Jack Sparrow – Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)
If you don’t have a full beard and only have a goatee, Jack Sparrow might be the perfect choice for you.
He has this long twisted and braided beard that resembles wickedness. But that’s what makes him unique.
Don’t be intimated by the number of accessories he wears, because they’re absolutely easy to find.
You just need to buy the costume, the hat, the boots, the sword replica, the pistol replicas, and his belts.
And don’t worry about the hair, you can always buy a wig for that.
5. Doctor Strange – Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Following the Infinity War hype, I choose to include this charismatic doctor in our list because I know so many of you prefer to cosplay the new version of him.
If you have a slight graying hair on your side, well, congratulations, you’re the perfect choice for cosplaying him.
If not, you could always dye your hair a little bit on the side if you want.
Anyway, just like the other characters in this list, this one is also easy and simple to cosplay.
Just buy the costume (it’s a full set costume), the Eye of Agamotto, and the Sling Ring, and you’re ready to do some magical stuff.
6. John Wick – John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)
If someone could beat Thanos, maybe it’s this guy.
Cosplaying as John Wick doesn’t really feel like you’re a cosplayer because he wears a suit. Yes, a suit.
But what makes his outfit remarkable is the all-black color and the feeling that comes when you wear them.
You’ll feel stealthy and invisible in the middle of the night, and you’ll also feel like you’re a skilled assassin.
Anyway, you only need to wear his all-black three-piece suit, his dress shirt, a black tie along with the collar bar pin, the formal shoes, the belt, and a pair of gun replicas with the full waist holster.
7. Albus Dumbledore – Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
He appeared at the time Harry’s about to get killed by Voldemort, and that’s why the movie is taking you to a roller coaster of emotion.
And if you have a really long white beard and hair, you can portray him easily.
But if you don’t, you can still buy the hair and beard wig.
Just make sure you have the wisdom of an old wizard if you want to be this guy.
And since he’s a headmaster, his outfit is really simple, just a tunic, a hat, a pair of boots (?), and the Elder Wand.
8. Obi-Wan Kenobi – Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Many moms thought he was Jesus, but they’re not completely wrong.
You must agree with me when I say Obi-Wan is a Jesus-like character in the Star Wars universe.
He’s bearded and he’s a good guy, that’s my argument.
Anyway, if you want to wield a lightsaber but still have a beard, then Obi-Wan is the perfect character for you.
Just buy the costume, the boots, and the infamous blue lightsaber.
9. Logan a.k.a. Wolverine – X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
The last Wolverine movie was great, but his outfit is not remarkable so I don’t include it in this list.
Instead, I go back to the previous movie which included Wolverine, and it turns out he has a great costume.
Do you want to have a claw like Wolverine? Now you can have it!
In this cosplay set, you will need the costume, the claw, and the boots.
And don’t forget to shave your mustache and use some hair styling gel to get his hair.
10. Thor – Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Although beard is not his main feature, I just remembered that Thor has a beard all this time.
People remembered him as the tall muscular handsome guy, not the bearded guy. But he has a beard, so he qualifies to be on this list.
Besides, he’s the ‘strongest’ Avenger and now he wields a new weapon.
All you need to do to be Thor is wear his costume and boots, and carry his newly forged ax, Stormbreaker.
And remember to always aim for the head, says Thanos.
Not many guys are ripped and muscular, so cosplaying Kratos or Leonidas will be tough.
But if you still want to cosplay as them, feel free to do so.
The simplest cosplay would be John Wick, but you’re going to get asked a lot of who-are-you-cosplaying questions.
My choice would be Captain America or Doctor Strange.
